If you look hard and have a bit of luck, you can find gold almost everwhere - even in the Netherlands :)

This picture is taken on a short cycling trip which took me from Oosterbug (NL) to Sint-Laureins, Oostkerke, Damme, Sluis (NL) and Aardwijk (NL). The day started with rain, but as they say: "after rain comes shunshine"... and I should have put some suncream :)

one more beautifull shot! I a was told about this only last week so let me share my knowledge... this is flax (Linum usitatissimum ) rotting on the field after having been pulled (!) out of the ground. What is left are the fibers to be used in all kind of textiles but also, partly explaining the recent popularity of this crop, as an addition to composite materials for the automotive industry....

@Hans: thanks for the explanation! I had no idea what it was, but I loved the texture of the rows. Now I also know what it is :)
